Recently, China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) officially released the notice on commending the winning projects of the 2025 "China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award". People's Electrical Appliances Group in China successfully won the Third Class Award for Technological Progress in this event, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the project "Key Technologies for Performance Test Analysis and Reliability Evaluation of Electrical Contact Materials".
The "China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award" is the only national-level scientific and technological award in the machinery industry approved by the National Office for Science and Technology Awards. It aims to commend projects and units that have achieved remarkable results in technological innovation of the machinery industry and made important contributions to the industry's scientific and technological progress. Playing a key role in leading the high-quality development of the machinery industry and promoting industrial technological upgrading, the award is renowned for its strict selection criteria and high authority, serving as an important benchmark for measuring technological innovation strength in the industry.
In this project, People's Electrical Appliances Group innovatively developed a "series of equipment for performance test and analysis of electrical contact materials", including ablation resistance and electrical performance testing equipment for contact materials, electrical contact performance and service life testing equipment for contact materials, and non-contact micro-performance testing and analysis equipment. Integrating functions of ablation resistance testing, contact simulation testing, morphology detection and performance analysis, this series of equipment fully meets the multi-scenario testing needs of electrical contact materials.
